Currently endorsed: Hold a CTE Occupational Teaching License with Endorsement (770) Automotive

Requirements to get endorsed:

High School diploma or above

Occupational Work Experience: Five years of full time related work experience out of the last eight years.

Example Qualifying Areas/Occupations: mechanic, automotive technician, service technician, auto body technician
OR -
Associate’s degree in automotive technology, one year of work experience in endorsement area

Bachelor’s degree in automotive technology

Must hold or be willing to obtain an Automotive Industry Credential (such as ASE) upon hiring. Please refer to the licensing guide for more information: Occupational License Guide
