I am honored to be the principal of Copper Basin Elementary School. This school community has been part of my family for the past 15 years. I treasure the relationships built with students, their family, and staff as I taught Pre-K. We share common goals of challenging one another in academic pursuits, positive interactions, and creating a more respectful learning environment for all. Our school and district goals are aligned in our pursuit for student achievement and social-emotional growth. We are committed to helping students set and achieve goals and enhancing leadership skills to build a better future.  

It is a pleasure to work with dedicated teachers and support staff that share my belief in the importance of educating the whole child. They work tirelessly to develop programs that meet the needs of our students. Cooperation, teamwork, and communication between all departments enables us to maintain academic rigor while instilling lifelong lessons about respect, kindness, citizenship and tolerance.  

I have not had a lot of free time while adapting to this new role, but when I do, I enjoy spending time with my family and acting like a crazy fan mom of basketball or horseshows. My daughter, Skyler, has been very helpful to me and encourages me when I need a boost. She is my inspiration in all things. I want to provide every student with the quality of education that I want for her.  

I look forward to strengthening and building new relationships and partnerships as our community comes together to make Copper Basin Elementary School the reward school which our students and teachers can claim with pride!
