South Polk Elementary School
Meet Our Principal
As a lifelong resident of Polk County, I am honored to serve as principal of South Polk Elementary. This is my fifth year as principal at SPE. I love our wonderful students and our staff members and truly appreciate the support we receive from students’ families and our community.
I have been married for 32 years to Issac (Buster) Bramblett and we have 2 children. Our daughter, Courtney Bramblett Rogers is married to Bret Rogers and very close to completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology. Our Son Caleb Bramblett recently married Mary Rebman Bramblett. He is serving in the US Navy and is stationed in Japan.
My favorite thing to do is traveling, especially cruising. I have been on 15 cruises and have a couple planned for this year. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I am a graduate of Polk County High School and then continued my education at Cleveland State Community College and University of TN at Chattanooga, obtaining a degree in Business with a concentration in accounting. I had always wanted to be a teacher and allowed people to talk me out of that career. After having my own children, I decided to do what I always wanted and went back to school to complete my education degree at UTC. I have my Masters and Ed.S. degrees from Tennessee Technological University.
The mission of South Polk Elementary is to work together with our parents and community members to provide a safe, caring, nurturing environment in order to give every student the opportunity to receive the knowledge, skills and behaviors needed to become life long learners and leaders.
